You'll be using a course management system called MyMathLab which contains all the instructional material you need to be successful in the course including pages from the textbook, videos, tutorials, practice problems, interactive homework and explorations, discussion groups, etc. Everything is online except the Midterm and Final. Those are taken using paper and pencil with me, or you can schedule an alternate date and time through Distance Learning. I've built a lot of flexibility into the course so you can work ahead at your own pace or catch up if you fall behind.
Your grade will be based on:
(1) online homework;
(2) online open-book quizzes;
(3) participation in a discussion board;
(4) midterm exam; and
(5) final exam.
If you have any questions or if I can help in any way let me know. Good luck!
