Communication:

• The instructor will communicate with the class by campus email, Seaport instructor notes and discussion forum. Students are to check CCC email frequently or forward to your personal email address. (See orientation for link to forwarding directions)
• Only send an email once. The instructor will respond as soon as possible.
• Only tag an email as "high priority" or urgent if it truly is (Don't cry wolf too often!)
• The subject line on all emails (personal or CCC) must include: CCC Hst 175 & Your last name.
• The instructor will usually check email once each day and respond in the order received within approximately 48 hours or less. On weekends the instructor will respond to quiz or exam questions. All general questions received on weekends will be responded to on Monday.
• Please do not expect an immediate response as the instructor is not online 24 hours a day. If the instructor will be away from a computer for any length of time, an announcement will be posted.
• Personal email may be used to contact the instructor if you identify yourself. Please don't expect the instructor to guess who you are. It is difficult to identify OCchick@hotmail.com or surferdude@yahoo.
